that’s pretty obvious that you need a new job, and I recommend that you go for it; but don’t leave this one till you have another. In this economy you DONT want to be unemployed. I really wish you the best.

I think I’d like to be asked to come along, but I’m enough of a home-body to say, no, you go I’ll be ok here, if indeed I didn’t really want to go. Now, too much separation is difficult at best and I don’t think should happen. That means someone needs to take a break in traveling or someone needs to step up and do more traveling. But Joy you’re not talking about huge amounts of travel anyway - 3 times a year? That’s noting.

well… I think courty’s first suggestion is is better than her second. because unless you’re a neurosurgeon, don’t fool yourself into thinking you cannot be replaced, trust me you can.
But her first suggestion while on the surface may seem like deception really is not. Your frustration and anxiety level is through the roof here, so there is more truth to this then what meets the eye. If you indeed have a med cert from your dr. then you are protected. Here in the USA there is something called “protected class” in employment law. This means that people like pregnant women, and drug addicts cannot be fired because of their condition IF they have a med cert AND are trying to rectify the condition. I’m not sure your condition for which you are being medicated puts you in protected status, but at least it could be argued as much.
2009-10-02 05:35:00 on As some of you may know, I’m currently writing for the San Franciso Examiner.com website.
wow, that’s great news about the new high school hours in your area. It is different and it may take time for the parents to adjust, but it serves the kids MUCH better!

Me yes, but that’s me. Everyone is different. People have to feel secure about themselves to allow their partner such freedom. Many people “say” they are that secure, but when tested we find something all together different. Your boyfriend is telling you right up front he is not secure; that’s pretty telling to me. I have to wonder what an insecure guy truly has to offer a partnership?

gypsy… all of your post for the last 2 months have been like this. It’s why I offered you the free book. You have to work with your psychiatrist to get the drugs right. I wouldn’t even look to your regular doctor, they are not as aware regarding many of these drugs, you need a psychiatrist. But trust me, every time you change meds you will experience different feelings. These drugs are NOT light weight things and you have to give them time to work, none of them are a quick fix; I’m sure you’ve been told that.
2009-10-01 22:14:05 on My 15 year old brother is dating a girl who is knocked up..
Find out what it takes for him to be emancipated via the courts. Then tell him if that is road he chooses, then he should become emancipated (not an easy step I believe), then get a job (a laughable option) so that he can support his girlfriend and baby. Together they can get a cheap place to live and he can start his family now. There’s not time like the present to start ruining your life. In other words slap him hard across the face with some facts.

not only that payday loans drive people to bankruptcy. They are a BAD deal (legal loan sharks).
2009-10-01 21:44:02 on October is National Book month here in the USA … so, what are you reading?

2009-10-01 21:43:01 on Why did 9/11 happen?
I’m not sure why they did it, but I have an opinion. I believe that fundamentalist Islam has really disliked Western society for hundred’s of years. Islam is a theocratic state; they live by their religion and the Qur’an. America is the worst of the “infidels” as seen by these fundamentalists and according to their religion we must either be persuaded to Islam as a religion or die. I am sure that politics enters into this discussion as well. America has had her hands in the Middle East playing every angle there is in there for decades. The Shaw of Iran was our enemy, then he was our friend, back and forth with all this for years. Funding this side of a civil war or another. I’m very sure that to many in the Middle East, America is not to be trusted. This was fundamentalist Muslim terrorists getting back at America for decades of degradation and abuse. Trust me I do not defend their actions merely try to understand such an evil act.

At your age you will find it a bit awkward among your peers. It’s not wrong in my opinion… but it is different.
