I grew up living on comic books. Archie and Jughead rule…
There’s nothing wrong with Comic books; only I prefer to call them Graphic Novels ;)
And that is the ultimate question anyway right? … Who’s hotter, Veronica or Betty?

I just finished reading The Shack (which I loved) and I’m now reading Ken Follet’s World without End, and it looks to be a book without end (over 1000 pages), but as the sequel to Pillars of the Earth, it’s already started out as a great novel. But school starts on Monday, so I’ll have a whole new set of text books to read.
I loved the comments left after my Article… it’s great mom’s and families like yours that keep the family together!
I’ve heard people say that The Shack has changed their life… well, one person, at least, but everyone else I know who read it completely loved it. Isn’t it kind of a sad book, though? Right now I’m reading Eat, Pray, Love and I’m loving it.
The Shack, like any motivational book, forces the reader to push through the sadness to get to the gold. Yes, there is sadness in this book, and some people might not be able to get to the gold, they might not be able to get past the sadness (and it is the sort of devastating sadness we all fear). As always it is a perspective. If I’m giving a motivational speech there are those that relate too much to the negative example and cannot get past that negative perspective. If however you can hear the positive message that transcends the negative, there is success. The same could be said for “The Shack”. I think if you call yourself a Christian you must read this book. But if you are not Christian but deeply spiritual, or searching for spirit in your life it’s a really good place to start.

What?! You?! I don’t believe it.
Well, when you come to San Francisco, I’ll take you out on a date. It might not be a romantic date, but it will be dinner, movie (or if lucky a play) and a walk on the beach.

Indeed, we all have greatness about us if we only put our minds to it. And trust me, I would be ECSTATIC to have those little bits that Raver doesn’t want!

2009-09-30 13:32:12 on what are the best herbs for coughs?
crushed hazelnuts mixed with honey is a good soother.
Rosehips harvested after the first frost, and made into a jelly or tea is good for coughs.
im in my early 20s and still havent :(
well, it’s not the end of the world. We all come into our sexuality at different times. Our self esteem and confidence comes when we are ready and best prepared to use it. Did you read what Cell wrote? (the first reply). That date sounded pretty rough, but that was at an early age… the date at a later age sounded much nicer. The point, as we get older, the dates only get better and better… at least they should.
2009-09-29 22:00:44 on I think I’m pregnant and I’m 16
ok… here’s the deal though. If you haven’t had your period since May… and you only lost your virginity a couple of weeks ago … the chances of you being pregnant are slim. The whole reason for a woman’s menstrual cycle is to prepare her for the implantation of an ovum in your uterus. If there is no uterus lining then you can’t sustain a pregnancy. If you’ve had excess lining in your uterus since May (without sloughing it out), I think you’d be alot sicker then something like morning sickness. Please go to the doctor to check this out.
I haven’t had mine yet, but I’m hoping that it’ll just be a nice dinner at somewhere like “Mimi’s” or “Pat and Oscar’s” lol classy, eh? XP
It’s not where you go… it’s who you’re with. And it’s especially, who you are. That is the thing most of us don’t know when we start to try having dates :)
I was 15 1/2 and it was a cold December night :). And, first we walked around town for a bit. And then we went to a park and he pushed me on the swing for a while. After, we danced on the basketball court.. haha. And then I started to get too cold so we came back to my house and we talked and he held me and stuff. He didn’t leave until about midnight. And we talked for the next few days. But after the new year came, he went back to college and we haven’t spoken since.
Wonder how he’s doing..
Wow… you were 16 and dating a guy in college? Well, it sounds like a lovely evening :)
