bottom line… no one here can really tell you what is wrong with your earlobe… we can’t see it, feel it, smell it (few if any of us are doctors)… if it is really bothering you, you need to see a doctor.

Hey Excess… I’m doing well. Still in school, I get my BA in Psych probably next year or early 2011. Still making a go at being a counselor / life coach, but looking for additional work as well. It’s not been easy, but I keep plugging along. After my girlfriend dumped me last year I’ve been single, but that’s OK too. Your pierced ear probably has a minor infection and the fluid is an attempt for your body to fight it off. Perhaps you changed ear rings recently to something your body did not like?

If you paid him, small claims court is the only way. But do try to gather as much evidence before you go. On the internet, I would google your friends name. If you know any nicknames or user names he might use on games try that too… or business names if he has a business. Also, you might google your name and wedding (not just wedding cause you’ll get a boatload of hits. but with this search, start with a google image search, not a websearch.

I feel your pain, although there’s not much anyone here can do in the way of getting you work. In this market it’s hard to find (I’ve been looking for almost 2 years). Try to stay positive… I know it’s difficult in your situation, but remember how we respond to things is always within our control. We can let it beat us down, or we can stand tall and move forward. Try to start feeling grateful for things. Little things at first (even within your relationship). Grateful to have a roof over your head, and food to eat. Grateful for a warm bed… the more you find you can be grateful for, the better you might see your life. Once in that mode of consciousness things will turn around for you.

It seems to me that without a contract this will be more difficult of course, I’m not a lawyer so maybe even impossible. What I would try doing is getting a written affidavit from everyone or maybe a petition that everyone could sign as a witness to your friend taking the pictures. Then I’d take your friend to small claims court. If you paid him sue for your money back, or the value of the pictures (if you can sue for that I don’t know). Have you looked on the internet for your pictures?

well said, and very true. You’ll get through it, it’s very hard and sometimes even hard to get back up, there will always be something worth it… trust me. And what’s really cool; your daughter may not really understand everything now, but trust me, eventually she will. It can be hard waiting for that day, but when it comes… it’s worth it. Don’t talk bad about your ex to your daughter… she’ll learn all that on her own… and she really needs to unfortunately.
