thanks for the shout Sophie… as you can see I’ve been having a rather lengthy debate in my shout box, and it’s been someone distracting to me of my other shouts.

Thanks again… I like this avatar not so much because we see ourself bigger or more important, (many don’t unfortunately) but because inside us all there is something greater… and to access it all we have to do is LOOK for it… we’ll see it easily enough :)

But this is the internet and a lot of the time it is best to do little but to the right ppl….

She was only banned for 24 hrs and a few other users was as well in chat.

There seem to be a lot of petty arguments going on and the mods have had a bellyfull.

They have banned for 24 hours all involved without any discrimination.
Hopefully now things will settle.

had NO arguing, this post had no one trying to recruit anyone. This post was posted by a Christian, FOR Christians (and the post was clear about it). Here a Christian was seeking help from people of his own faith, and he was SHUT DOWN. In my opinion, that does not qualify as a ” … a good job at it.” This form of censorship is not being over zealous… this is plain old bias and prejudice. I understand how difficult the job of an admin or mod is but this behavior was too much for me… and not because I’m a Christian just because I believe in fairness and as little censorship as possible. I still would LOVE to see a post where someone is trying to recruit someone else to their religion.

For the first time I disagree with you.
Like I said the admins have had a few problems with religious users but they have delt with it.

I think Religion, politics and sex are 3 subjects that will always cause arguments and therefore will always be difficult to manage.

I think this site does a good job at it.

But time to time a particular subject will have a increase in arguments and the response from the management may be interpreted as over zealous.

According to the administration of this site; religious posts are not tolerated… they are closed. I am only complying with the “rules” of the site. Yes some of the replies are interesting for those interested, but would there have been more interesting religious posts??? we’ll never know will we?

I dont realy think their was a need to of closed that post.

Some of the replies was intresting. It would also of been intresting to see how it developed.
