Richard…you are very far from being the bad guy! You are one of the few genuine people on this site and you do help a great many people. Isn’t that what it is all about?

well… it’s a little crazy, because the TOS does ALLOW advertising if the service or product is relevant to the post. They do not allow spam… or something that is off topic. The only time that I direct people to my website personally is to give away a copy of my book… it’s on my site where they can find out about the book and email me. I don’t … I’m just beyond tired with trying to help, and yet coming up the bad guy. Perhaps if I’m the bad guy I shouldn’t be here.

I didn’t know that happened, I did see the banner though, I didn’t know that violated any of the site rules. I see people advertise here all the time.

yeah… I kinda noticed. Just so many hoops to jump through. Ditzy (and I love Ditzy) sited me for ‘advertising’… you can read my shout trail. At first I thought huh? I dont advertise. Then I think what it was on the bottom of the last few posts I did have my company banner with a link to my site. Nothing more than that… no works saying come see what it’s all about … very subtle stuff… I thought the html aspect of those posts made the post look better, and the content of the post was nothing but motivational… yet, someone can complain… and the mods are forced to do something… too much if you ask me.

Not sure if you noticed, but I’ve drawn back as well. Not really sure what I’ll do.

It’s an attractive site all together, looks quite a lot like the ultimate goal for your site. Professional, but still has that personal touch.

very true about the small stuff. I like the menu on my mentors site… Debbie ford.com. there is a link to it on my links page of course. I guess I could do that sort of thing with a rollover button. I have to figure out the different levels though.

Email me with a description of the changes you want to make to the menu and I’ll write the code for you, if you’d like.

Love the frog analogy and that is generally my philosophy in dealing with life. I take care of the big things and try not to sweat to much over the small stuff. Things have a way of working themselves out in the long run.

How sweet you are. I did indeed say no worries about emails etc. I know where you are too :) I like the changes we made to my site, you had some excellent ideas! I would love to change the menu but I don’t know how to do the coding of what it is I want to do. I see it everywhere, but I can’t figure out how to make dreamweaver do it. Oh well… it will come to me :) I’m doing well thank you and I hope you are too. Sorry to hear of the chaos… that is never very fun. Always remember… if you have alot of frogs to eat, eat the biggest frog first :)

Just taking a minute to say, yeah I know, I didn’t keep my word when I said I would email, but in my defense, lol, you did say it was ok. I’m still going to, but I’ve had brain issues. To many things going on up there and not enough focus.

How are you finding the changes to the site? I think some of the issues are much improved and am hoping that you feel better about things.

Anyhow, just wanted to let you know that I haven’t forgotten you.

I’ve written a post that I believe your insight would be of great value, but I have been having a problem being able to invite friends that are offline. Would you please visit my post and invite other Christians to it. Thank You and God Bless.

I understand exactly what you are saying and I feel the same frustration. I am glad that you are still around though, because it is people like you that make this site a better place.

thanks Fizz, but that post sold me on nothing except the excellent non-biased look Ditzy can have on a subject (which is GREAT). Other than that it was the same Christian bashing that happens on this site everyday. That post was pathetic from the very first reply. Further I hope that yourabi can improve the site - but experience tells me differently. I will welcome his change with open arms if he can bring it on. Regardless… I only come here now more out of morbid curiosity than anything else, ya know - Maybe someone out there has had a breakdown, or wants to kill themselves “again”. To see how many 14 year olds think they know all the answers; I come to look at my invites (and I involve myself in only a few of those), and my shouts. My site and business keep me busy too… it is at least fulfilling. Sorry I know I sound terribly fatalistic today. This site has a way wearing me down and really pissing me off. Ya try to help, and people just pick up the nearest rock to throw at you. If that little blurb on the home page of this site is it’s mission statement, “Change your world …” then they have missed their mark by a HUGE amount!

I’m doing well thanks. School is bugging me a bit. My plan has been sidetracked, so I have to alter the plan. It’s not difficult just a pain to have to deal with the change. Of course, I of all people, should be rejoicing in the change instead of fighting it… it’s just a lot of logistical things that are a pain…lol
