Hello, Richard! Heard about the SF earthquake and I’m hoping that everything is going ok for you and your beautiful family.
You are definitely in my thoughts and prayers….Peace and Love…Edie
Hello, Richard.
You knew me as EDIE…
And today, once AGAIN, you have totally hit my heart…Thank you Richard….Here are the words that touched me so profoundly…
“Every woman deserves a man who calls her baby, kisses her like he means it, holds her tight like he never wants to let go, doesn’t cheat, tells her she’s beautiful, wipes her tears when she cries, doesn’t make her jealous of other women, instead makes other women jealous of her, is not scared to let his friends know how he really feels about her, and lets her know how much he really loves her….”
You are such a beautiful and wise man…
I don’t know when/if you will ever get this message…But I simply NEEDED to send it off…
Once again….THANK YOU sooooo much….
You are truly ONE OF A KIND..:))))
Hi Richie!
Long time, no see.
Thanks a lot for well-wishings. It was a bit tough, but I am better now and will soon go back to work. But I have started to look for other jobs now, especially in CA but also in any state or in Canada.
We’ll see if that goes well, will have my first interview next week (for a job in AZ).
I see you later!
Your friend Molo
Ah, good point. Thanks for thinking of that ^^
I think it would depend on what you mean by acceptance. I would normally try to understand a situation and deal with it if possible. And if not, just take what I’ve learned from it and view it similarly to how economists view “sunk costs” (costs that can’t be recuperated no matter what decision you make now, therefore it’s in the past and doesn’t factor into your decisions now). There have been many things that have bothered me in the past that no longer do because I have grown stronger since then, understand the situation better, and so on. And there have also been other things that didn’t matter as much as I made of them at the time, so I forget about it when I chose not to let it bother me. I suppose it would be similar to how pessimism/optimism works. If you focus on one of those, you make less of the other type of situation.
I briefly had a look at the website you provided me the link to. I’ll keep that in my favourites. It seems kind of interesting and rich with a lot of good inspirational material. I watched a short preview of one of the videos this morning. There was a quote from Martin Luther King in it. I really like it! :)
“Faith is taking the first step even when you don’t see the whole staircase.”
I love this… Very often, we don’t dare take the first step. We don’t even believe there’s a staircase there! So we stand still and worry and over-think and worry some more… hehe… You know! When we finally decide to take that first step, that’s when we realize there was indeed a whole staircase there with all the necessary steps to take us where we want to go! When you don’t know what to do in some situations, very often, the answer is to just do “something”!
I’ll be looking around that website, Richard. Thank you so much for the link.
I hope you have a wonderful day, my friend! :)
Hehehe… I’m sorry about that! lol
Well, if it’s any consolation, I’ll be witnessing this, first hand, as I’ll be living with a piggy myself! :)
I’ll let you know if it’s accurate or not. :)
However, this morning I woke up thinking about something and since I find you there in my shouts, maybe you might have some ideas about it…
I was thinking it would be nice if I made it a routine to use some positive affirmation, first thing in the morning as I open my eyes. I thought it might be the best way to start my day going in the direction I wish to give it. Just looking for some inspiration, here. I could write my own but was wondering if you might know where I could go, on the Net, to find some good ones.
If you have any idea, Richard, let me know!
It could be a good way to give the bad influences of the Rabbit year, a hard time!
Ok… now I’m also convinced that I should go back on the Internet and find another Chinese astrologer with a better outlook on 2011 and maybe edit my post! :)
Thank you for understanding. Some others thought I was going in for a Hallmark competition and thought I was reported. I don’t think I will do any more posts. :( EGx
Exactly! She seems pretty young. People make mistakes but shouldn’t be defined by them. In the scheme of things, this is a small mistake! She didn’t kill anyone, and even if she had there would be room for redemption. As it is, it wasn’t even a crime, so there’s a plus she has over many mistakes people write about here. It was wrong, and she’s stated many times that she knows that. She’s just a young woman confused and afraid and wanting to get her life back, looking for a quick fix because she knows she screwed up.
Thanks for being so kind to the OP over there. Some other users were being really ridiculous. I reported a couple of replies that were over-the-top against the TOS. I SO wanted to get into the name-calling against the rude users, but I showed restraint like an adult.
Anyway, thanks for being an adult on a thread that was full of adults acting like children.
Its a few days sail from where I live. You should try to go before you die, its a very neat place and Im sure it would be cool to know where you come from. Im fortunate enough to know and have been to the places that make up my history.
Ahaha, we gave you little bastards ale, squinted eyes, and Im fairly certain we helped up the ginger population. I have never met a red headed Scot, though. You ever been to the land magic?
Haha, thats awesome! I have always fancied renaissance festivals, never been though. I am also a Drama major in university, doubled with staging and light design and the school of the arts in Bergen.
First of all, D&D with cards is for pussies. Im a straight Drow rouge with an Albino Nightmare familiar. And regular show is fantastic. More fantastic than regular show is live theater. Do you still act at all?
Ahahahaaa I have been Leia in the gold swimsuit, at a convention no less. Its a good time. For a lot of young people its an attention thing, just like punk music boys piercing their ears. I dont even trust people my age and older that they are sure about their sexuality. Things have changed so much in the last century, you are just a different generation. And people chemically, should be straight. I do believe that, its just more socially acceptable to be gay now and its whatever. There are too many people in the world anyway.
Haha, yes I am a bisexual. But frankly, who isnt these days? Gender roles are becoming obscured and the feminists are taking over the world. Its nice to do the long hair thing for getting dolled up and what have you, but its just so impractical. Its like two and a half feet of rope you dont get to tie things with. Worthless. Haha, but that makes me sound a little more dykie than I would like to appear.
I understand busy, that’s for sure.
I was concerned that it had been returned. But you got it…Was it marked Dec. 13?
Just trying to keep it straight…
And I know that you’ll get around to it whenever you can…not a prob!!
Take care of yourself, now, ok????
Hope all is very well for you…
Don’t forget to stop, look up at the sky, and take in all of that wonder that is given to us…zzoo Edie
