Hey Sans! Sorry… my computer is so very slow lately!
How have you been doing? I have had a hellish week! I hope I find more time to get together with you guys in the days ahead. I think everything is getting back into its place now… hopefully.
I’ve been restling with a deer in my backyard! Long scary story! Hope I get a chance to chat on Lum soon!
xx :):)
Dear Sans-y boy! I hope you have the loveliest Christmas ever with only the best of all things around you and perhaps a few pleasant surprises… Just wanted to add, thank you so much for everything that you are and everything that you are willing to give. Just like a good bottle of wine, I’m sure you’ll only get better over the years. Be happy my friend! :)
(Ok, she’s not exactly real but that’s the best I can do!)
A very Happy Christmas to you, your dear children… and the puppies too!
Yeah lice were a pain, but they’re gone. Dogs don’t get lice for some reason.
You do need high speed internet. You should be able to download the video to your computer and play it from there without hitches. I’ll post a new video later today.
I haven’t sent cards in years but I should. Hope you’re having a great Christmas. Talk soon.
Hey sweetie, thanks for thinking of me. Things have been hectic around here lately. On Tues. my daughter came home from school lice! Ick!! You might say it was a lousy day, no pun. So I’ve been treating her and my son, and laundering everything in the house. The pups are beginning to open their eyes, so I’ll be posting when they do.
Hi Sans! Just stopping by to say “Hi!”
I don’t seem to have much time for the Help site lately…
But there are a few people here that are in my thoughts maybe not constantly… but almost. And just because I don’t write them, it doesn’t mean I’m not thinking about them. You know?? :) :)
I hope you are doing pretty ok! Just wanted to stop by and say I’m thinking of you and hope all is well.
Take care sweet guy. Wishing you nothing but the best! Write me if you ever find some time and feel like it.
Oh! And take all the time you want to get back on here. It’s ok if your Birthday post goes on for days and days… Like Greeneyes often says:”It’ll keep!”
I hope you’re having a pleasant evening with your kids. :)
Wow! That was quite a resume! Well it seems to me you’re doing all the right things. Pushing forward as you are, something good is bound to emerge from all of this!
Sans, I have to confess, yOu are such a great guy, you really deserve the best. From all the effort you are putting into this, I see nothing but blue sky ahead of you for a long time to come. And 50 is still sooo young! Haha! :)
My golden retriever is humongous ginormous whale-opagous big with puppies in her tummy. She’s not due until the fifth of Dec.. The kids and I are driving out of state for Thanksgiving, and I am hoping that Daisy makes it there and back without bringing the litter into the world prematurely.
I think I can officially say that I’m unemployed, as my business (which was tangentially related to real estate) hasn’t made a dime in a couple of months.
I had been stuck for months trying to figure out what career path to take. My love is writing. The economy has a way of rudely awakening one from dreams, but I’m not going to let mine die. I did finish a story the other day (a children’s book, although not one I think is publishable).
Still needing a day job.. I have just about decided to apply to law school, not because I love the law, but because I see in that profession the opportunity to affect change. Also, it’s a job that can’t be off-shored.
I have a little project I’ve been working on, that hopefully will make money.
My son is writing his first novel as part of a class assignment, and is very gifted.
Trying to get ready for puppymanina.
There was frost on my windshield this morning, but that’s only the third or fourth time this winter. SC is not as warm as Florida, but almost. It’s a good thing since I hate the cold.
I was sorry to hear Maximina say she was leaving. Email me sometime. I could kick myself for missing your shouts, lol.
Frick and Fack! I just shouted myself several times. I’m definitely a short-bus rider tonight. Here’s part of it..
I was in a long post (Setto’s) and trying to come up with a good reply. Also, I was putting some wood on the fireplace and getting some chips and salsa. I seem to have become addicted to Tostitos with a hint of lime. Sometimes those dastardly marketers actually hit on a good idea.
Love your avatar btw… It’s blue! I love blue! :) :)
Snowing a lot over here lately. Yep! It’s winter now! Damn!! Too cold. Maybe I should join the snowbirds and fly down South?! I’ve never been in Florida in December. Been there in June, August and October. October is usually warm enough to swim… I have noooo idea what winter’s like over there though.
Well… Mr. Sansceriph, if you’re just going to ring my door bell and run away… I might as well go to bed! Actually, I really should… or boyfriend will feel a little neglected. :(
Hi Sans! It’s been a while… hasn’t it?
I hardly come on the Help site anymore. And when I do, I mostly just look around, except for birthday celebrations! I like parties! :)
How are you doing? Been reading shouts. How’s it going as far as work goes? Seems too many people are struggling…
I don’t write much, I know… Not as much as I would like to. But I think about you guys a lot! Talk to me! I feel like I’m writing in my journal again! LOL
Let’s see… I had a Bar-BQ’d chick breast, a hot fusion of mashed sweet patatos and squash, tender green spinach in melting butter and a fresh mix of various exotic curly lettuces from the garden. Is that anything that would appeal to you?
Now if only I could find a nice hurricane party in the neighborhood to finish off this evening in a joyous manner, that would be perfect! Unfortunately, there isn’t much of a chance of that happening around here. (Sigh…)
So I’ll just go and have a few sips of red wine all on my own in front of the tube.
Ah well the last one missed me and fell apart anyway. And Ike is heading for the gulf, which won’t affect me either except for some rain. My neighbors all got together for a little hurricane party at my house, and it was less than dramatic because there was rain but no wind. You can’t have a good hurricane party without the trees waving like crazy.
Don’t eat anything I wouldn’t lol. Shout me later.
This one doesn’t look too bad. If it’s not more than a cat 2 I’ll ride it out. I’m not on the gulf coast as my avatar appears on the map, but on the east. I’m so bad about waiting to mow my lawn anyway, a hurricane is as good an excuse as any. Thanks for the shout, though, and the field of dreams.
Hi again. I know what you mean. It’s been raining here for what seems like weeks (no damage from the t.s. storm), and the last couple of days were sunny. But I’ve been building a book case and today I had a bunch of errands so I haven’t gotten to the beach.
With the school schedule I haven’t been on as much. I decided not to do the post. It had to do with my kids and I’m careful about their privacy, so no biggie I’ll figure it out.
I can see you out in that corn field! Just don’t tell me that Shoeless Joe is stepping out of it onto a baseball field.
Hey, it’s like summer has just started over here a few weeks ago. And even if I only spend half an hour on the computer in the middle of the day, it’s still too much. I just want to get out there and enjoy the nice warm weather while it’s still with us! Last winter burried us all in snow and it’ll be coming along soon enough. So I’m just trying to make the best of it for now, taking care of the garden, re-painting the outside of the house and getting away on the weekends as much as possible.
I hope you got through the last tropical storm without too much dammage. I don’t see you on as often either. You must be busy working more. The last time we shouted each other, you were suppose to make a new post and invite me to it. Hmmmmm….. :|
Anywho, cute puppy, I have to go! I can see a corn field bathing in sunshine all the way to the end of the horizon right now, looking through my window. This beautiful day is calling: “D!..D!.. Come out and play!”
It’s a call of nature I simply cannot resist!
I’m doing REALLY good! Summer’s almost over…
but we’re having really beautiful sunny days still. So I think I might go out on a bike ride today and make the most of it.
