Absolutely without an umbrella. It rains so little here that I’ll go out and walk through it in a t-shirt and sandals.

I don’t think it would be so terrible. When you lose one sense, the other senses pick up the deficit and you see or hear things in ways you never really could before. I think it’d be an interesting experience, though I’m definitely not in line to try either haha.

Hmm, I think I’d make the opposite choice. A world without sound would be so dull and lifeless. But being blind while being able to hear, I could easily imagine the world around me.

As you said, it’s an unsolvable riddle. It’s incomprehensible to someone who hasn’t experienced it from the beginning. It probably can’t be expressed because in order to understand how they view the world you have to have gone through what they go through.

Though here’s an interesting question, would you rather be born deaf or blind?

The denominator gets infinitely large as n approaches zero, so the total value of the equation approaches an infinitely small number, ie zero.

Can’t go wrong with Europe. It’s a fairly safe place these days and there are plenty of things to see. But if you choose Europe, why confine yourself to one country? Move around a bit, none of the countries are too large to drive across fairly easily.
