She did it probably because I told her that I’m going to interpret all her dreams and that she would understand everything that is obscure… I told her also that she might feel a crazy love for a married man… So, she saw that I understood which was her real problem, but she didn’t want to discuss it because she is probably interested in a person that she had to forget.

Your story is very sad, but there are many like yours or even worse. It seems that you have a hidden tendency to be immoral because it’s part of your wild conscience, so your human conscience doesn’t understand it. You’ll understand it only when the super big temptation will appear in front of you. It will be like a crazy love for a married man or something similar.

Can you tell me more dreams? We can understand what is happening with a person only studying a series of dreams. One dream alone doesn’t reveal much. The unconscious that produces the dreams gives us orientation too, so that we may correct our mistakes and understand what we shall do in order to live peacefully.

From what you told me about your life now, it doesn’t seem that this new relationship is the real problem in your life, but maybe another person that you don’t know or that you didn’t think that could be interested in you like a woman.

Please, try to remember more dreams and tell me more about your life. Sometimes we cannot see anything wrong, but there are many wrong points in what we do. Nobody is perfect!

It would be very good if you could have a notebook and write there your dreams everyday, even if you don’t remember much of them. Just write what you remember and the unconscious is going to show you which your problem is and what you have to do. HI Christina - I have more information on the dream - I allowed myself to get thru a good portion lst night.

I saw the people being tortured- all women age ranges from very young girls to adult women.

They were being tortured by all men - from teenagers to adult males.

here is the gist of what I think it means - I think I am reliving much of what happened to me in this dream and I have to figure a way to forgive those that did the harm so I can move on. I thought I forgave them but maybe I only think so.

My father molested me as a young child when I was 4-5 years old. It ended when I told him I didn’t want to see him anymore and he committed suicide (he was found 2 weeks after he died and had been dead for about two weeks - after I last saw him/told him that). It still weighs heavy on my mind.

At age 16, I was gang raped by my boyfriend and several of his friends.

At age 22, I married a man and suffered 18 years of physically and emotional abuse.

I don’t trust men. Recently, I made friends (platonic) with a man I met during the time of my divorce. He was actually the contractor working on my house at the time. We slowly developed a friendship over time. He had nothing to do with the divorce. He is though the kindest, gentlest, man I have ever met, yet I still am leary of moving our friendship forward. he knows my history and understands. he is patient and understanding. We are just friends, we have never crossed any lines of integrity/morals.

It is the only thing that can come close to a temptation that you speak of, yet again there has been no compromise to my morals (Ok honestly, I have THOUGHT about sex with him many a times but it is only in my mind).

I have Internet in the island where I am, but it’s too slow. Anyhow, at least I can keep a contact.

Could you tell me what is happening with you lately that could justify this warning from the unconscious? Perhaps you didn’t understand yet what is threatening you, or who is threatening you.

Many times we believe we are very loyal to our moral principles, but a big temptation can ruin everything. Dream interpretation saved me when I had to face a very big temptation, many years ago. This is very common, for many people. Temptations never end. Perhaps now that you are divorced you have to face many more temptations.

This dream is showing you that you have to be more than careful. The people that are suffering are parts of your personality that don’t agree with your conscious thoughts. We have an enemy inside our psyche: our wild conscience, which is absurd and violent. When this wild part dominates us, we lose our mind; we are not able to control our behaviour. This part can only dominate us destroying our human conscience if we’ll agree to do something immoral or bad against other people but it’s very easy to just let this part dominate us because it’s too strong and we don’t see how wrong we are many times.

Thanks Christina, I struggle with this as I consider myself to be a person of high standards and integrity. I have been faced with many challenges to my moral standards and have never went against my morals. I have been tempted, oh how I have been tempted, but I never let myself lose control.

You faced a lot in your life, but don’t lose hope. Your dream is warning you because you probably have a tendency to go against your moral principles. The tragedy that happened with you was preparing you so that you would be always loyal to your moral principles. Perhaps something is threatening your moral attitude.
Dreams tell us a lot about loyalty to our moral principles because this is the only way we can keep your human conscience always alive. Otherwise, the wild part of our conscience invades our human conscience and we become crazy. Many people are crazy because they are dominated by their wild conscience, which is violent and immoral. That’s what happened with your father. His human conscience couldn’t accept what his wild conscience did when it dominated him. That’s why he committed suicide. Other people become psychotic after that kind of experience.

You have to be careful and be always moralist. In the future your painful experiences will be transformed in lessons and the lessons in wisdom.

HI - took me a minute to find your response as it’s in your shoutbox instead of mine. Takes getting used to these shout boxes.

My exhusband is very much alive - it’s my fatherinlaw that died after the dream.

I have been under a lot of stress in 6 months in sustained a head injury, my brother was diagnosed with stomach cancer, I got divorced, and I faced my childhood past of being molested by my own father who later committed suicide.

Could that have anything to do with it?

The unconscious was trying to prepare you for your husband’s death with your father in law’s appearance.
This dream about the dark room shows you that you are in danger because the wild part of your conscience is trying to invade your human conscience. The unconscious that produces the dreams is warning you with scenes of a hell, so that you may understand that if you’ll do something against your moral principles, in the end you’ll suffer in a hell worse than the one represented in your dream.
Did anything strange happen to you?
If you have seeing the same dream many times, it’s because you are repeating the same mistake in your life, you are not seeing something very important that you have to see, or not doing something very important that cannot be postponed.

Hi - thanks for offering to help me with my dream. Actual I call it frightmares. I have had this reoccurring dream that seems to grow as I age. It is to the point I no longer want to sleep for fear it will happen again.

I should let you know that I have dreams in which I receive warnings about people I love and they are usually “true” within a few days. Ie: I had a dream where my father in law was taking to me and playing with his ear and kept saying problem. He was elderly and not very coherent. I asked my exhusband to have his ear checked out - turns out he had skin cancer on his ear lobe. 2 weeks later I dreamed he was trying to talk to me but couldn’t breathe/catch his breath. He died from pneumonia two days later.

So, anyway, here is the dream I keeping running from -

It is a very dark circular room with approximately 20-30 people (faceless/no identity) who are being physically tortured by other (facelss/no identity people). I am either hovering above watching or hiding behind a column.

I literally feel the pain of the tortured - burns, hit with nailed boards, etc. I wake up with the awful sense that I was the one being tortured but I don’t see myself receiving such acts.

I hear, see, feel, smell, and taste in my dreams. This one is intense with all five senses.
