People were partying till 3am.
Everyone is business as usual, but slightly different. It’s like—ok, the man is in office now, but I hope that the same people who elected him don’t freak out when things start happening. It’s apathy which can kill a nation.

What the dems are being accused of really pales in comparison.

It amazes me how far apart the two camps are, and it seems there’s really no way to communicate except in the form of an argument. Sometimes I blame Bush for that, for setting up such an atmosphere of dishonesty, fear and desire to retaliate. But I know I’m guilty too. The other thing that amazes me – especially because it isn’t obvious to everyone – is that WE don’t do this stuff. We don’t remove hundreds of thousands of voters from the voter rolls. WE don’t set up roadblocks and refuse to allocate the proper number of voting machines to poor and minority neighborhoods, etx. etc. etc. Honestly, I have come to despise Republicans, and I recognize them on sight! They are a different species!

I’d rather not provoke Fizz, I’ve avoided all her McCain posts because of that. And I wished she would respect my decision of NOT doing that by NOT doing that on my subsequent posts. The thing is what she says and how she’s acted on this post of mine, I find to be unacceptable, because although she’s invited to her opinions I’d rather she not slander and slam the DEMs on my post. I have very strong ties to the DEM Party and generally I run things by them first before I go on and on about it. LOL.

There are so many fuxd things, like the girl who said she was attacked because she was a volunteer for the GOP (it was debunked and she admitted to lying about the whole thing) thing is—a lot of people don’t know about that–they just hear a nice white woman from Texas was attacked by a black man–Obama supporter. Also, Joe the plumber, not real. Based on public record he doesn’t exist, and the closest person to “Joe” by last name at least, is in foreclosure. I guess it’s a good thing he did all those paid interviews…but that isn’t going to be pursued, although it should be. I work in construction, more over mechanical engineering which includes Plumbing—many of us more liberals were outraged. It’s not you—as much as I don’t want a flamepost. That’s not my purpose.
