Leaving huh? Probably a good choice. The site sucks you in and isolates you from real life. It’s hard to stay away unless you cut all ties, but in truth I’m sure you’ll be back. Everyone does this whole “I’m leaving” thing, and you won’t be the last. But then you won’t be the last to return either.
LOL it’s ok, it’s a bit of a joke, the name change.
My Fiance is looking for work right now, he was doing seasonal work, which means he’s been out of a job for almost two months. I understand what you mean with the anxiety involved in getting work.
I hope they call you for a second interview, that’s normal here in the states—also its GREAT that you and your wife are free to express emotions between you two.
For D I just spent 3 hours reworking his resume, he doesn’t think so highly of himself… :P
Ah, Times! Again, the name change confused me like everyone whose changed their name of late. Everyone has been really helpful over this, and I fear I closed the post too soon. But when you get these people on their high horses making unfair statements it just doesn’t help. I’m sorry to say that I was really upset by it all, and when I went to bed I woke my wife up and just cried for a bit. Only time will tell I guess as to what happens next. Thanks again Times…sorry, I mean Trees.
Yeah to add to Brians comments (as yet another ‘merican)
They can also only verify you pay and pay increases over the time of employment.
The dates of employment.
Unless you managed to piss off specific people or the company is small enough, sometimes they don’t even get past HR or secretaries so really they don’t know you and probably won’t have much to say.
You might want to prepare some canned responses though, like why you left.
I haven’t removed anyone as a friend. I don’t think I’ve added anyone recently either. I’m under some heavy medication though, so I’ve been a bit aloof. Someone else must have—I’m sorry.
