  Mareani (pretty name BTW). Take charge of your life!! I can’t say this strongly enough. DO NOT SIT AT HOME and wait for the phone. Make some arrangement for the kids and then get out. Go to a gym, sporting events with a girlfriend, Home Depot- this is where the guys hang out. More instructions to follow.
  
  The trouble with most women in your situation is that they are doormats- they let a boyfriend or husband for that matter walk all over them. Take charge- change your life. Get a circle of friends going, take a chinese cooking course at the local college- ANYTHING that will get you out and mix with people.
  
  Finally- do something about your looks- You have not posted a photo, but I bet you are looking frumpy these days. Keep in touch- I can help

  yes billabone- you are being selfish and self centered. You value your friends place in your life and your apartment and you don’t want a change. However if she is truely your friend, you will place her happiness above you petty self centered desires. So, the next time she gets interested in a guy- rejoice for her- this may be the start of lifelong happiness. And what about you- are you looking for a lifetime partner?
