  LOL. Here is pretty bad, but I was more or less talking about my profession. I am a college recruiter and work a lot through email. It astonishes me that high school students cannot formulate proper sentences even when it is something as important as working with your college admissions recruiter. I am shocked that they are not learning when it is and is not appropriate to use slang and abbreviations and to ignore spell check.

  Well, what’s better? Living in your current situation or trying to make it better? You are not the only person who has been in a situation like this. As a matter of fact, there are many people who have been in worse situations, some who may be trying to offer you help on these boards but you sound unwilling to accept or understand that. If you want your situation to improve, if you truly want a better a life, a shot at happiness, you will find a way. Friends, their parents, teachers, a guidance counselor, the lady at the grocery store. Someone is willing to listen and someone has the ability to help but you need to seek it out. Stop being a victim and waiting for something to happen for you, you need to make something happen. Take charge of your own life and make a change.

  And again, being under eighteen, it could still be up to your parents so press charges.

  You still need to check with the laws because there are some states that says if there is a certain number of years between you then it can still be illegal. Also, if this was a person who was supposed to be in a supervisory role like a teacher, therapist, caregiver, close friend of the family, anyone who could use their position to manipulate or compromise you, it could also be illegal.

• A Little Help Please…
  

  This is just a little thing, but it will make her day a little brighter:
  
  Pack her lunch for her. Write silly poems to put in her lunch box to surprise her. Cut a fun shapes out of her sandwich with a cookie cutter.
  
  This won’t help her completely adjust to her new surroundings, but it will remind her of the important things in life and will help to put things in perspective for her. Plus, it will make her smile.
