Whew! It’s been a busy week.

Now, am I a good singer? Sometimes, mostly in the shower lol. Am I a good karaoke-er? Now, THAT’s an interesting question. You know the karaoke machines here have built-in scoring systems. Last Saturday, my scores were between 72 to 76 … and the comment below it usually blinks “GOOD JOB” so I’m thinking I’m good enough … for the machine lol!

You went bowling? Wow … yeah, I kinda miss those days. Most of my friends that I used to go bowling with are elsewhere now. I never really got to master the scoring part I just bowled lol. You had a slight concussion? I’m hoping it didn’t involve anything heavier than a bowling ball … those things are kinda heavy lol.

What’s the week like for you so far? Hey, Toy Story 3 is just out … :)

Active, well pretty much lol. I actually started getting active a few years back. I kinda hit rock bottom emotionally and financially … things looked bleak. Then I thought of the things I still had left… I had my body, I had my mind, I was pretty much healthy… and there you go. You might say I’m checking out everything that I can do while I’m on this earth :)By the way, I haven’t tried the Triathlon yet … still working on it :D.

Karaoke was great lol, I managed to sing around 10+ songs lol.

Lol, yup the picture you paint of a monsoon is pretty much accurate. Yeah, I’ve been through a lot of floods. Good thing I love on high ground on the outskirts of Manila. Lol yeah, I have a friend in Australia who’s pretty chilly now.

With regards to spiders I generally don’t mind them unless they’re about the length of my finger. The small ones are pretty cool. One time I went to this man made forest. On the trail there were different kinds of spiders scattered all over the place. It was probably one for every 5 meters or so. Some got horns, others got a furry tuft on their heads, another had a shell on it’s back. I thought those kinds were pretty cool … no bigger than te end of my pinky finger.

I really just join sports for fitness more than anything else. I grew up playing Soccer, but it isn’t too popular here. Basketball’s the in thing here, I played the game but never really had a liking to it, I don’t really know why lol. Lately, I’ve been road biking, jogging and playing Badminton … and really, really recently … Boxing lol, am just checking it out to build endurance. Am really hoping to shape up so I can do a Triathlon … but I think I still got a loooong way to go lol. My swimming isn’t too good at the moment. I don’t really watch sports, but I seem to get entertained by watching billiards :D

What about you? What sports are you into? How’s the weekend doing so far? Am at the coffee shop just across the cinema. I think I’ll wrap up a few of my side jobs here before watching the movie … later tonight is Karaoke night at a friends place :)

We’re getting into the monsoon season these days over here in Southeast Asia, so we get showers sometimes twice a day. Nothing too hard yet, though we expect the rains to really pour in within the next few weeks. Summer here is from March to May

Summer was really hot this year though, peaking at around 90-100F during the last 2 weeks of May. The humidity is a good thing though, it may feel hotter but at least it’s not dry … it feels less of an oven and more of a subtle steamer. Swimming is great! Being an archipelago, the beaches are just a few hours away :D.

Food and travel are really the thing here during the summer. Depending where you live there’s usually an inter-neighborhood sportsfest somewhere.

I used to bike to and from work, but now that the rains have come in I just take the bus lol.

I was checking out Ohio on the net, it looks like you got some really nice lakes over there :). I love the outdoors.

I know what you mean about getting back to civilian life. I got friends in the military too and they can’t help but look over their shoulder every once in a while. I’m not sure, but I think they call it Post-traumatic stress. Is that correct?

Well now, let’s see, as a Graphic Artist, I’ve done some illustration of mostly the cartoony type. I’ve done layouts for magazines, some interface designs for mobile applications and some presentations for my boss. Strangely enough I haven’t ventured into web design yet … am hoping to hop into that track soon.

So, what’s summer break like on Ohio? Am thinking of watching the A-team over the weekend … movies in good theaters around here cost about the equivalent of U$3-U$4. Sometimes you get a free drink and popcorn/nachos depending on where you go.

I’m actually a liaison for Mobile Content, which I find weird since I started off as a Graphic Artist. One day, my boss asks me if I wanted to try it out, and so I did … now it’s been almost 3 years and now I really miss the creative field.

I got to talk to my boss about it, hopefully I’ll get to be back in the creative part of the business by next month :) …hopefully.

Military Psych, wow. Now, why do images of ESP and Levitation come to mind lol. Counseling Psych I understand, but why the interest in Military Psych? … just curious :D

Yeah, dogs are great :) Am not sure what breed though. I’m familiar with German Shepherds, Schnauzers, Labradors, Shitzus and Huskies … aside from those I’m pretty much in the dark lol.

Wow, I miss summer break. I’m sure you’ll miss it too when you start working full-time.

ah, its called the theme of hearts. its a remix of sorts of another song from a video game, but i knew giving the original would skewer the results with video game ideas. wanted to see if the man behind the original tune could instill the thoughts he wanted to portray with the songs he made. it always felt like it did to me, but i was biased as I knew the story the song was for. the link i gave you is probably as good as any link, as it is from a free album done on a fan site i browse frequently.

Thank you for your support on my post:) Unfortunately, the mods ate me alive, closed my post and the traffic(volume, not members) didn’t support me. If anything it discouraged me, plus my real life friends said “it is what is is”

I used to be really really skinny. I was 13 and weighed only 110 pounds at 5′8″ haha but yea it’s nothing bad. Gives you a good workout and builds up your strength and stuff. The only really unfun part of it is the really really hard stuff.

I know really haha. It’s not all that bad tho. It’s actually kinda good because I’ve been putting on a few pounds (finaally) lol
