Mini-Profile
Married with four step children, all teens or older. I’m mostly making up silly things to amuse myself and my family (Why did rubber ducky go to jail? For running a quack house — Knock knock! Who’s there? Common Taliv? Common Taliv who? Bein merci, et vous?”).
Lots of silly games and quizzes too. Here’s one: paper (a win earns 1pt), scissors (2pt), rock (3pt). First to be 7pts ahead wins. A draw sets the score back to 0.
Run engineering at a starup in San Francisco - have fun solving puzzles for a living, and coming up with ideas. But playing jazz (piano) is how I really express myself. Spend too much time studying hard languages with scant progress - not sure why I bother. The greatest thing of all is an idea elegantly expressed that dispels darkness.
An elitist and snob. Believe in truth in art, and art in life. Compelled to leave Britain - a country that aspires to mediocrity.
My current literary hero is Gursky from Nicole Krauss’s “The History of Love” (she writes like an old jewish master).
