Well I have a couple of chronic illnesses and I am just taking things day by day. I applied for Social Security and I am waiting for a decision. I just feel kind of lonely so what I am looking for is just a friend to talk to. I am quite isolated and I don’t go out much. I just find the gay life too difficult because what I need right now is a friend and not a relationship or quick fling. So I all I ask is for a friend.

I am glad you found your way to help.com. Actually, people around here are mostly helping, Richard Cor de Lyon is one great example for them. Others don’t really care, those are the people I personally don’t like much. Seeking help but doing nothing for exchange… That’s just not nice.

However, let’s get straight to the point here. I am admiring your andeework today. I think it is wonderful that you want to help out with those gay-issues and that you want to help out people with gay-issues.

Well, what I am writing now is not easily said, and it is even more difficult to say that in english, which is not my native language. If you find any mistakes in what I am writing, you can keep them.

I am straight. I used to be quite homophobic, which was not for moral reasons, but due to bad experiences with gay people. See, when I was 17 years old, I got raped by 3 gays. That caused my homophoby. It took me quite some time to understand that 3 rotten apples don’t mean that all apples are rotten. But I am still afraid of you guys sometimes… Which is understandable, I think.

Well, maybe you can help me to eliminate the fear, hm? I don’t expect wonders though, if you can’t do it, you can’t.

Back to you: How can I help you? What sort of disability do you expect?
