Agree with what you’ve said - and it was said with your heart. Thank you

In your first communication with me - you stated: “Why is it that Michigan’s Child Protective Services only has a 30% return rate to reuniting families together? When the USA aggregate return rate to families is 70%?
Does the case worker get a cut of the moneys collected from the federal government for removal , then get more for adopting children out?”
I had no idea as to which cases you were talking about and the situations which you have been involved in. Then in your second response you provided more information which gave me a better idea as to where you were and what you’ve been struggling with.
That is what I meant with “thanks for the update…” was that you gave more information about what you were involved in -
As for the second part - I will report any offense or unethical action to whoever it is needed should I have solid proof or evidence of someone endangering a child or an adult…and do what I can to protect the individuals from harm. I have no reason to doubt what you have said about the circumstances in which have occured - you seem to have taken some postive steps towards correcting the situation and I respect you for that. I would suggest that you keep writing to the President, His wife, the Senate, the Congress, and the newspapers -
In the Bible - 2 Timothy Chapter 4 - versus 1-4 - it says:(1) I solemnly charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by His appearing and His kingdom: (2) preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with great patience and instruction. (3) For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires, (4) and will turn away their ears from the truth and will turn aside to myths.
As you can see - in vs. 3 & 4 - the Word of God has hit the nail directly on the head. Our system in increasingly letting loose of sound doctrine and doing things according to their desires…
5 But you, be sober in all things, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.
6 For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure has come. 7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith; 8 in the future there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all who have loved His appearing.
In verse 6 - it states that Paul feels as though he’s been poured out as a drink offering - that is what I’m hearing from you also… I encourge you to keep up the good fight and finish the course - whatever it takes…
You’ll be in my prayers.

Sounds like a nightmare in Michigan… now that you’ve given this information to us.. your original question has grounds to be voiced… interesting note: I tried to copy and search your references and all that I got were Error messages - so I went to another web site: http://protected-murdered.facesofthem… and I was able to find the information plus more from other states…
Thanks for the update and info…. but again I’ll report any child abuse or mismangement to the authorities and jail those whom are doing wrong should I have the information to do so.

The answer to your question about one program vs another cannot be answered without really knowing “the why” of it. I would suggest in return that you go to this web site: http://search.live.com/results.aspx?s…
and take a look at the many programs which are available and which are working to the best of their ability to reuinte families.
As to your second question or statement: “Does the case worker get a cut of the moneys collected from the federal government for removal , then get more for adopting children out?” My rage and my anger that someone would actually believe that SW’s or CM’s would desire to profit from the pain caused in a “removal” of a child from his/her family - and again that you or anyone would think that we (SW’s or CM’s) would want to profit from adopting them out. You must have been really hurt by someone that was very unethical - if I ever knew of someone trying to profit from this type of situation - I’d do everything possible to make sure that they were put into jail ASAP for as long as possible.
Separation of children is done under strict guidelines and for the most part - only when the children are in danger. On a personal note: I believe that if parents were to come together in marriage and with full love for each other - in a complete relationship with God - and if they were to love their children as they love themselves - then we would have less separations and less domestic violence. Thanks for your response my friend - I pray that you will receive healing to the pain that you have had.

No - I was not a Mormon… but I have been through several studies on various faiths. One thing which I’ve learned is that the Mormons and the Jehovia Witnesses study the Bible and other faiths for a while prior to going out on the road. I would only wish that Christians would put as much time into studying the Bible so that we could have our “suit of armor” on and our “sword” sharpened with the truth of Christ. I urge you to study the Word and be prepared - not to “become involved in foolish arguments” but to simply present the gospel as it is.
Thanks for your comments -

You could start by going to various support groups like: Al-Anon for teens; Community action league; YMCA - volunteer for various positions; Church groups, and many more… in time - as you go through college - you’ll find your niche.. one thing I would suggest for sure.. is that you get a BSW or MSW and from there you can go in just about any direction… Good luck and may God bless and guide your steps…

Excuse me - where did I say that you do not believe in Christ? What I believe your various books and teachings say is different than what the Christian Bible says - The Christian God was never man - and no Christian can become a god - we do strive to be Christlike - and through his blood - and sacrifice - we have salvation. I would prefer not to become argumentive in this dialog - Please tell me if by posting the teachings of mormonism vs the teachings of Christianty that I’m off base.
For a Christian -the Bible is the only true Word of God - John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The Articles of Faith, the Doctrine, and Covenants, the Book of Mormon, and the Pearl of Great Price go against the Word of God in many ways. I do not have the room here to expand on it and it is not my desire to do so. Each of us come to the truth in our own ways through the direction of Jesus Christ, our Lord, our God, our Savior.
I would suggest that we go into a different discussion and let the love of God flow between us.
2007-07-13 11:14:41 on i have a boyfreind and weve been dating for 3 years
More than likely - his brother and his ? best friend have already told him… just think for a moment.. do you tell your best friend things???
I’d like to ask you a question? Do you put any value on your body - your being - your future?
I’d suggest that you find a support group or someone that you’d hold as a role model and discuss your reasons for making your decisions as you have been doing. You are a very wonderful person and at some point in your life you will want to marry and have children ??? find someone and talk to them…

I am a Social Worker in NC and one of the main things which we do is to unite families that have been separated. We also help individuals with finding housing, jobs, clothing, food, and etc… When needed - we help them with the process of obtaining ssdi or ssi… we work on college, GED, and other types of training.. we connect them to Therapist and to Psychologists, physicaians, and etc. as needed. There are other things which we do… we work on addictive behaviors… marraiges…fund raisers and more…
So… why do you want to be a Social Worker…????

refer you to a great web site that explains the differences between Mormons and Christians. http://www.bcmmin.org/
When you read the teachings of your faith and when you compare them to the Bible - then it becomes very clear how the two faiths are different.

Not to attack your faith - only to define it according to the teachings of your faith - Mormorism is not Christianity - read the below:
While there are some teachings of the Mormon church I can embrace, too many parts of Mormon doctrine are not Christian. The Mormon God the Father, who has a body of flesh and bones, is only one of a countless number of gods who was once a man, died and was resurrected. He had a mother and father and grandparents ad infinitum. He is married and procreates all the spirits of the people who have been and will be born on this earth. The Mormon Jesus was not always God, but was the first-born spirit offspring of God, and the only begotten Son of God in the flesh. He is the spirit brother of Lucifer. Mormonism once taught that Mary, the Mother of Jesus Christ, became pregnant with Jesus by her Heavenly Father, the Mormon God, in the same literal way a husband and wife procreate children. In the same way we were conceived by our parents. Many Mormons don’t want to believe this doctrine, so we urge all to see the Family Home Evening manual, copyrighted 1972, pages 125, 126, lesson 27 “Whom Say Ye That I Am?” Other references are found in Gospel Principes, Chapter 2, first two paragraphs and all of chapter 47 (1997 edtion). This last reference can be found on a Mormon web page at http://www.lds.org/library/gos_pri/go… There is more on these teachings of the Mormons church, with references, in article B-2.

Thanks - we will keep your sister in our prayers… that this man is not a wolf in sheeps clothing… it would be nice to know that they will be going to counseling with the Pastor and that a good understanding of commitment will be had. Hope that all turns out well…
