I have been working internationally in the entertainment and advertising industry since 1992. I began my career in Mexico working for such clients as AT&T, BCI & Coca Cola. The majority of the fieldwork in Mexico was shot in remote locations that included Mayan ruins; jungles, tropical desert islands, and other remarkable natural settings with a diversity of texture such as can only be found in that country.
I moved to the United States in 1998 where I began concentrating on music video work for artists such as Matchbox Twenty, Jewel & Prince. Live concert events include Lenny Kravitz, NaS, and The Ataris.
On occasion, I would delve into the documentary field where my work included the Oscar nominated film Capturing the Friedmans.
Although I have predominately worked with film,I have seen the advantages of adapting to the ever-developing Hi Definition format and have produced several television shows in that medium. Recent broadcast clients include Nick, Comedy Central, MTV and Cablevision.
In 2004 I partnered with three others to form Showdown Pictures with the purpose of collaborating on television content development. With them, I have worked with various athletic and mainstream celebrities such as Lokelani McMichael and Jessica Simpson.
I currently live in New York and work primarily in New York, Houston and Los Angeles. Although I do large projects, freelancing continues to be a main mode of income.
