In my opinion, yes, it is brain washing.
As for the question, is there any truth in it, well, no one can give an answer to that as NO ONE knows for sure that is why it is refered to as faith, to believe in something with no proof.

I think the last time that made me laugh, not that I should of done, was when I was telling my 5 yr old off for something he had done, in the middle of telling him why he shouldn’t have done what he did he yawned and said “YEAH are you nearly finshed because I am bored now and I need a poo”…
I had to walk away from that one.

Thanks anon but I felt helpless as I did not have the ability to ban so I basically had no say over her being unbanned …

I didn’t want her back either, not after everything she did and how she did it, a total lack of respect to the site and now other people know that if something doesn’t go their way all they have to do is “pull a sophie” and they will get a mod dancing around their feet =/ totally sick

No, It is only one person giving up on it because they think by letting her back it fixes everything, that there is no knock on affect from this and that no one else would care.
But I cared, I believe it to be wrong to allow someone back as long as they stop being a troll and treshing things that is why my beliefe in it was strong enough to quit.

Well I quit the mod team because of this.
Apparently her trashing the site meant that she would be unbanned if a mod said pretty please stop if I unban you.

That goes against my moral beliefe of being honest and fair.
Letting her back is not fair on anyone else and also means she can and will probably control the site from now on.

Sometimes I think it is best not to be friends so that you can both move and get over everything, if you stayed friends then it would be harder for you to let go as you would still have hope that everything would get back to how it was before.

Simple fact is you both did something wrong.
