Hiiii!!!!
I am so glad to hear from you!
I missed you a lot, and I was worried for you, so I am happy that all seems OK.
Well, I am doing fine. It has been some ups and downs, but nothing serious. Hehe, I live at a place far away from all friends, and I don’t even want to get new friends here because I just miss my old.
My job is funny but I don’t go well along with the owner, who is also living far away but who keeps pestering us by telephone and disturbs the operations by not keeping his fingers off things. Lastly I have nobody to love, at least not who loves me in return… But I have my friends here at ‘help’, and that is what keeps things fairly OK. I even went and visited one of my help friends, and that was very nice!
I don’t feel old, and I am kicking and struggling like a fish on a hook to tell myself and others that I am NOT old, but everybody treats me like I already have one foot in my coffin…
Heya,, ya its been ages since i’ve been on help! Well i’ve finally stressed over SATs and boredom in the summer holidays! lol, well now to go through more hard work in GCSE’s! Oh well i guess more work now means less trouble in the future! =) so how are you? (((hugs))) i’ve been missing you!
I, and a lot of others, have missed you so much!
Lilies sends her greetings too, I am chatting with her just now.
Hehe,
Easter was a week ago.
At least here.
Nope no worrying love affairs, alls good. Take a look at my latest post(about 2 weeks ago), its about the amusmant park i was talking about sometime ago……..
I’ve been missing you! Actually I have been lousy (pneumonia), but I am recovering. I did not stay home from work, and that was a bit stressy because of all coughing. But I’m soon OK. And I’m in a good mood, too.
What about yourself? Hard school work, no worrying love affairs and no problems?
Hi, foxes!
Like Sarah said, thanks for being mine, too!
I would have replied earlier, but the kids in the house had a LAN gathering and spoiled the internet connection…
A man walks slowly at a Californian beach, contemplating over life.
He suddely bursts out: ”Oh Lord, fulfil a wish for me!”
Dark clouds gather in the sky over his head, and he hears God’s dark voice saying:
”You have been faithful to me in all ways, so I will fulfil a wish for you!”
The man says:
”Lord, then build a bridge to Hawaii for me, so I can go there whenever I want”
God answeres:
”Your wish is very materialistic. Just imagine how much thinking and work is needed for it to be built. Imagine the coloumns having to reach all the way to the bottom of the ocean. Imagine how much concrete and steel it takes to build it! I can do it, but it is very hard for me to fulfil your wishes about so worldly things. Why don’t you spend another minute or two, finding something else to wish? A wish that would honor and glorify me!
The man is thinking for a long while. Then he says:
”Lord, I have been married and divorced four times. All my wives have said that I am insensitive and did not care about them. I wish that I understood women. I wish that I could understand their inner feelings. I want to know how they are thinking when they refuse to talk to me, why they are crying and what they mean when they say: ”nothing”.
I want to know how to make a woman really happy!”
Silence for a couple of minutes… The wind stops, the sky gets even darker…
God answers:
”Do you want two or four lanes on that bridge?”
Speaking about language and hot, I will tell you a dirty one, but so-so funny. It’s for real!
My friend had paid a lot extra for getting a personalised licence plate for his car, and he was bullying me for not having one.
So I told him “I have!”
“I can’t see one”, he said.
So I replied: “It says that I will stay very active until I am 77″.
I’m a Swede, living in Sweden. But I used to live also in Liberia and Tanzania. Especially Liberia has an English accent which you would probably not understand without training.
You are good! Ad I don’t really know. I have forgotten the distinctions, but they are there. You probably say ‘luggage’ where an American says ‘bagage’. And so on.
But English isn’t what it was before. Some decades ago, you would probably tell your father’s income by your accent…
I don’t know. I just had that impression. You see and notice things without knowing it, and a subconscious image is created.
But then of course, sometimes it gives the wrong image.
