  When you pack a finite (although quite large) amount of mass into an infinitely small point, and this is the extent of the entire universe, there is no time. It has to do with Einstein and Relativity. Time did not exist before the big bang, just as god would “exist” in a timeless place, a singularity is, indeed, timeless.

  Let me explain this:
  
  The big bang created a giant explosion of matter. Nothing else. The rest is just the laws of the universe turning randomness into order. Let me give you an example.
  
  (this actually happened to me. I was mesmerized) You in a car and rain is falling down hard. Then it stops. You take a look at your window.
  
  At first, the drops are random. They are dispersed randomly and spread all over the window fairly evenly, and the drops are small.
  
  However, soon the laws of cohesion, gravity, and drag come into effect. The droplets move toward the back of the car, coming together and growing, until you have groups of droplets moving together in a nice little system.
  
  Even though the original arrangement of droplets was random, a few simple laws came into effect to make order, and community. That doesn’t mean gravity and cohesion are gods, it just goes to show that simplicity times randomness can equal order.

  You’re stuck in the friend zone, man. The only solution is to tear away from her for a while. Let her see what she is like without you. Make her crave your presence, and when you do come back in a month or two, try to be nonchalant. Talk about your girl problems with her, don’t seem to devoted or decided.

  I could never get around to reading the Bible. I say it needs to be rewritten to be more interesting. I mean, if I want to curl up with a nice novel, it’s not going to be the bible. It’s a bit predictable, the plot twists are boring, and there are plot holes everywhere that I just can’t get over!

  Expert or not, everyone knows venting does wonders. That really took a load off.
  
  I’ll try seeing her more often. Here’s hoping that will help, and not exacerbate the problem.

  I’ve definitely had crushes before, but I’ve never really been in a relationship. In those situations, it seemed my feelings seemed much more as if they were directed at an object than a person.
  
  This is, I think, the first time I’ve had my feelings reciprocated, and the first time I’ve had a woman really talk to me and try to understand me.
  
  She’s definitely not perfect, but we get along extremely well, and I think we have pretty good chemistry, but I think that’s beside the point.
  
  Most noticeably, although I’m usually an avid gamer, playing 5-7 hours a day on weekends, I play little to none for the day or 2 after we see each other. I’m not quite sure what that means. Is it that I’ve become dependent on her in the few hours we were talking, and must revert back to my usual entertainment gradually?

  Alright, maybe I was a little melodramatic about everything, let me tone it down a little. ;)
  
  It’s not that I’m in love, at least I don’t think. I know her well, but not enough to be in love, I don’t think.
  
  It’s not libido or anything, because the feelings aren’t even really sexual. I don’t know, would you call it infatuation? It’s like sitting with her, and talking with her, it’s just more fun and perfect than anything else I could cook up, and I just don’t see the point of doing anything that would just pale in comparison.
  
  I guess you could call it an addiction, maybe. I just really love spending time with her, and for some reason I really miss her for the days after.

  but i dont want to argue pointlessly.
  
  what youve shown in that reply is that there are no random events, and you seem to claim that we would have, garunteedly come into existence. i have no reason to think this. i do not see how chemicals gain life if you just add time. this equation doesnt work, not at all, because we can look around and see that doesnt happen. the only reason people even think it happened is because of the statement that started this reply.

  also, ive looked into the scientific reports and mathematical findings as much as the average person can, and i can say that most reports and findings can be stretched to make any theory seem plausible.
  
  no, i dont see the proof, its not 100% proven in any way, but even if these reports are as you say,
  
  why, of these scientific theories that you believe prove so much,
  can they not be simplified into laymens terms?
  
  how can I trust theories that only proof is people saying “the math is there”.
  ive looked for people to give me reason to believe these so called proven theories,
  
  and i get the same answer: the ever elusive “scientist” have tested and shown this or that, you have to look it up.
  
  but its hard to find anything other than masses of data, technical terms, and theories that lead anywhere.
  
  the reason for many of these is … most dont lead anywhere, and with so many theories, most cannot possibly lead anywhere.
  
  but still people would trust that we “had to happen”
  
  and evolve by chance…

  I’m just saying, it’s hard to argue chance. You can’t argue “It’s very unlikely that life would evolve, so it must have been a god”, because life DID evolve. Therefore if it evolved by chance, it must have gotten lucky. Argue chance for what will happen, not what has.
  
  And consider millions upon millions of stars in millions upon BILLIONS of galaxies, and tell me, if each had a small chance for life, is it unlikely that one would hit the lottery?
  
  However, likeliness is an issue of the future, not the past. It’s not circular logic to say that if something DID happen, it did happen. There’s no chance for what’s already happened.
