Yay! Yesterday, school was cancelled, and I have no school on Monday, so I get a four-day weekend! :) Thank you, bone-chilling, negative-degree weather. ;)

Wow, it’s been a while! Thanks for the shout (I haven’t been on help.com for a few weeks so I didn’t notice it until now). I’m doing fine, enjoying the weekend by being a couch potato. How about you?

Looking for a job and trying to revive my business at the same time. Job market is grim. I’ll turn 50 in less than a month and need to either go back to school for a second degree or work smarter somehow.

Hey Mittens! Good to hear back from you. As it turns out I’ve been away from the site for a month myself. I’m doing okay. How about you?

That was my way of saying, “Please don’t go.”

While I was on a cruise in Alaska, my kids and I wrote “LOVE” on our arms. We used a highlighter because we didn’t have a sharpie. We were at dinner in this formal dining room with a group of 13 family and friends. And when we explained what we were doing, several others wrote LOVE on their arms too, even my brother who isn’t in to anything mushy.

I am great. I too had a very fun day. Sometimes get rest is exactly what you need. You might want to try and stay up all night one of the days you are there. If you are taking naps during the day it should be easy. :]

hi, i just want you to know I think the ONLY harsh words were the last sentence.But it showed me something.Im hoping you could help me out with this.The ‘disgrace to the LGBT’ To put it simply I dont want to be a disgrace.If you cant help,its ok,I have others i can go to about it.Well. I am a high school teacher who works students with emotional/behavioral disabilities, basically students who have major behavior problems. Many of the students I work with tend to have serious mental illnesses. The spend a lot of time in the principals office. Most people don’t even know that they have a disability and just see them as bad kids. Once you get to know them you realize they behave the way they do because many of them have been horrible abused.

Those sound like fun plans! I bet your friend is so excited to see you. After all you have been through you need a nice vacation with lots of sunrises! :)
