  Why are you living, what are you living for, who are you and what is your purpose?
  i felt the same way you do at a point in time, i asked myself these questions, and i looked in all the wrong places for the answers. I was sick of trying to be someone i was not, sick of living for nothing, not knowing who i realy was and not liking who i had become, and mostly, having no purpose.
  then i messed around and dared to ask God for His help. i didn’t go to church, i knelt in the privacy of my bedroom, and boy, i did not know what i was getting into.
  God has been so great to me, he showed the point of life, that life was made to live and to love, showed me how to be myself, and man did He open my mind and heart to my purpose and potential!
  God’s not looking for someone who is perfect, He’s hoping for someone who’s willing to step out on faith when they have tried all the world has to offer and come up empty feeling - theres gotta be a better way to live than this.
  Follow your heart(spirit). not the world.
  one last thing, to believe with faith of a child was the key for me. and to find the purpose of anything, the best soure of an answer comes form it’s creator.

  Because if God is real, then we better figure out who He is and what He wants.
  also, the reality of God scares most people because it automaticly takes themselves from the position of most high being and places them subjective to a greater power than their own. kinda like a pride, self righteous thing. people are scared to die, yet they are more scared to **********. so it’s easier just to not mention Him and keep pretending like we all don’t feel Him tugging at our Hearts,and for us to keep pushing down His spirit inside of us that is crying out for life and love and truth and all the things that are most real to the heart of man. we are to smart for our own good and we over complicate things as simple as “Love each other as i have Loved you”-Jesus.
  There is power in the name of God, in the mention of His name, but it takes humility and faith to humble ourselves to His presence in this world.
  I wish these briliant awesome people who devote there lives to everything the world has to offer would stop denying the existance and start Loving God. It would help so much more than any thing that science of technology, money or medication. We
  need knowlege, yet the begining of true knowlege is fear of the Lord.

  Yeah Courtney, i agree with much of what you wrote. i do believe people tend to just ” come to church, instead of Become the church” and too many times people who get into church become hard nosed and religious. the very type of people that Jesus fronted out and confronted. The type of people who crucified Him. When people get reborn, it’s by spirit, not by works or physical effort. Many people in church are going through the motions without ever recieving a heart transplant. The bride of Christ needs the Heart of God. and you can’t find that in the ways of man.
  Personal Relationship should be to Foundation of Faith. when people recieve that, they don’t need the emotional hype, and thats not there motive, there motive is to share Love with the world. if more churchs, pastors, born agian christians would have a personal relationship, there would be more action behind the message, and walk behind the talk. Many people will stand on the day of judgement and say, ” but didn’t i work in your name, preach in your name, cast out demons in your name?” and Jesus will say, ” depart from me, you worker of iniquity, i never knew you.”/ the church needs to wake up and get real. This is serious, and would rether live authticaly in sin than to fake living for God. Being luke warm makes God sick.
  i do believe the Bible is truth. Just like the fact people twist it is the truth.

• How do I pray?
  

  I first ask God to forgive me for my sin, i also give Him thanks for all he has given me and the life i have, then i talk to him like i am talking to a friend. a very Holy and loving friend. God has all authority on heaven and on Earth. He also says that the things that concern us concern him. My first prayer after about four to five years of not speaking to Him was, ” God, if you are real, please help me” and He definatly did. God is not found in religion, more like a relationship. He longs to be loved by you and to hear from you. i know He has been a true friend to me since i recieved Him into my life. i will be praying for your friend. pray for me too please, i am making some big life deciciions here shortly and i want the will of God for my life. Prayer changes things, thank you, mitch lunceford
