  Congrats! There is nothing like feeling a baby move inside of you. My grandmother always told me that having children is the most selfish and selfless thing a person will ever do.
  
  Having a well thought out plan on how you and your boyfriend plan to approach your life and your coming baby might help with the end results of the fall out. Expecting and allowing your families the opportunity to express their feelings while putting them at ease with your plan of attack will win them to your side even if reluctant.
  
  Just don’t get defensive. You will start having dreams for your child now. You have to allow your parents to grieve for the dreams they had for their child as they go by the wayside and come to accept this change in direction, your direction.

  If you plan on ending your marriage, it shouldn’t be for another person. There should be a reason(s) in and of itself that is the cause for the end. Marriage should be a serious committment that outside influences should not affect. For it to end should be the result of serious deteriation from within the marriage. The presence of a third party should not be the motivation. Out of respect for the vows you took, you owe it to your wife to talk to her and either work on your marriage or end it as well as possible.

  I was in a similar situation. It ended in divorce and although it was hard, I believe it was the best thing. Things are still hard, but now my kids and I have hope and opportunity. At the end of the day, you are responsible for the situation and events you find yourself in. I never went on assistance although I thought of it. If it got bad enough, and it sounds like you might be there, then I would. I have a responsibility to my children to do all that I can to give them the what they need and hopefully to be able to give them what they would like as well. Only you can decide the moves you have to make, but you clearly know all your options. Overcoming the fear and shame is the part that we all struggle with in our lives. No matter the situation, it is fear of failure and embarassment that can hold us all up. I hope that you find the strength inside to do the things you think are necessary to heal your home.

  I too am touch by your story. I was raised by my grandmother who had to fight my mother for custody. I will always be grateful to my grandmother who sacraficed everything for me and loved me unconditionally.
  
  My family is in the process of opening a business. Part of our mission statment is our intention to identify people who need our help as a continuation of our responsibility to the community around us. I hope that we will be in a position to help you in the near future. I will certainly return to do so when we are able.
