• (4 votes) Being strong doesn’t seem possible anymore.
  

  - To help combat the sleeping issues, at a set time every-night,. say 10pm, go to bed and lay that, not moving with your eyes closed and the lights off, lay there for at least and hour, try 2. If that doesn’t start working to get you asleep after a week tell a doctor. About the dreams, talk to a councillor, or I would recommend a shaman, but then allot of people are turned off by shamans. The lack of sleep will destroy your appetite and the lack of energy will make it hard for your body to digest, plus your immune system in general will be shot, try to eat 3 times a day anyway, even if you do throw it back up.
  
  - You can’t help Annakate if she’s not willing to help herself, sorry but that’s the way it is. Everyone tries drugs and drink at some stage, yes allot of your friends are doing them now, but no they won’t all be overcome by them, some will but not all, again, you can’t help them if they’re not willing to help themselves, do your best to avoid situations with drugs and drink, otherwise you may end up doing them, unless you have very strong willpower. “Yesterday they pressured me into smoking a cigarette” These people ARE NOT your friends, tell them to go and get ******. Have more faith in yourself and determination, you are not likely to go back to drink unless you intend to, this is your life you call the shots. (no pun intended)
  
  - The longer you keep friends and company like these the harder it will be to avoid drink and drugs… Believe me I know, my best friends are still drinking very heavily and doing drugs, that’s why I’m always here and not out with them. I won’t ask about the older guy, but at 14 I don’t think you should go higher then 16. 99% of the time the person you fall in love with is not who you thought they were at first, stick around and see if you like who he really is, although be careful meeting people online.
  
  - Your family situation certainly doesn’t help at all. Try to be close to them but without getting sucked into smoking pot. Perhaps you should focus on study, it would give you something to do in your spare time and it is emotionally rewarding t do work you’re proud of. If school is not for you then maybe start writing a book, you can then illustrate the book, or even just do some art. College, the artistic work I do in my spare time, my programing course and Cami are what I busy myself with these days, if I had nothing to do, and o reason to respect my ow health, I’d prolly be back with my mates drinking and smoking, idle hands are the devils workshops…
  
  - “It’s like everyones going down hill but they expect me to keep trekking up it.” I’m afraid this is life Polly, just keep trekking and keep persevering til you’re on the top, and even then it won’t get easy. Nothing in this life worth doing or having comes easy… be it sobriety, health, success love or happiness, the harder you work the better the rewards of your work will be.
  
  Everything is not out of hand, keep telling yourself you have it under control and believe it, it’s important to support yourself like this, be determined and have faith in your determination. Refuse to do what you don’t want to do, do what you want to do, and tell anyone in your way to go **** themselves.
