I do actually know of that place, and it does have a great reputation, even for its 3d animation course, unfortunately though it’s about the same price, and it’s in America so it’d be even more complicated and difficult for me to get there. There’s also a great place in Hollywood called Gnomon http://www.gnomonschool.com/ that would be ideal, but ti’s more expensive then VFS and in an even worse area :p. Yeah I’ve been reading, I keep up to date on modern technology, and had heard similar theories, never this one tho, which seems to just be a well thought out estimation of the future, and it makes sense.

I found it after reading Kurzweil’s book “The Singularity is Near” last year. It’s highly speculative and way over my head as far as scientific knowledge, but it shook up my view of longevity and evolution. His basic premise is that technology is a part of evolution, and that we are currently in the “knee” of an exponential curve in which three technologies (nano, genetic and strong A.I.) will transform society. It’s a challenging read, and sort of skips over what I think are opportunities for totalitarianism, but the site carries on the discussion and debate.
