2009-11-11 03:16:50 on Is it possible to fall in love with someone of the same gender, yet not be sexually attracted to them…?
Ok, I can’t hold it in any more :-) My thought is that you are feeling rejected by your friend, rather than jealouse of him - but this is a hard thing to realise and admit to yourself. You have both nutured your friendship over years, to the point where you both feel safe and secure around each other. You probably focus a lot of your energy on making sure your friend is happy and taken care of, *as did* she for you.
Now, here comes the hard part… The hurt that you feel is probably because, deep down, you feel (this is the REALLY hard part) that you **deserve** the affection that she is now directing towards him, because of all the things you do for her. If this is the case, it might be really hard to actually admit, but it’s important for your own state of mind if it is the case :-)
Once again, I’ll stop. Am I way off? (very well could be :-)
I am making it so much more confusing than it has to be…
You’re being a normal person with emotions, that’s all :-)
Perhaps I’m just being overprotective of my friend, like Archykins said, I might just be scared for her because I get bad vibes from the guy.
I don’t mean to be the devils advocat, but… while you may be getting bad vibes, can you honestly say to yourself that it’s him your upset with? Or, that it’s your concern for your friend which is causing your angst?
2009-11-11 02:15:10 on Is it possible to fall in love with someone of the same gender, yet not be sexually attracted to them…?
Asexual, from what I understand, when talking in terms or a relationship, simply means no desire, or instinctive drive, to have sex.
2009-11-11 02:10:45 on Is it possible to fall in love with someone of the same gender, yet not be sexually attracted to them…?
Here’s what I think is happening, and I hope I’m not overstepping any bounds or anything… You’ve been hurt, emotionally… And, deep down, it’s your best friend that you feel is hurting you. But, your rational side is telling you that there’s no good reason to express any hint of angre towards your friend. And, that’s where the feeling of confusion is coming from.
The feeling of jealousy - and I don’t mean to be wierd here or anything - is actually how your conscience (sp?) is surfacing the angre you’re feeling.
I’ll stop there, in case I’m way off… Am I way off?
2009-11-11 01:51:43 on i am soooo tired!
D4mn… I knew I was hesitating for a reason - before I went ahead and suggested “energy shots”. Something about that just didn’t sound right :-) Kael.harmo’s got the best advice here.
2009-11-11 01:45:20 on i am soooo tired!
Well, usually just always trying to stay in a good mood is a good way to keep your energy up. Being excited about what’s going on, laughing, even making jokes about how tired you how. :-) But, sometimes, you really are just simply too tired to even do that.
Try one of those “energy shots” you see in the corner stores - just not the ones with pure caffine.

Just a thought… I have no idea what your conversations actually sound like… But, I wouldn’t be surprised if you’re coming across as patronizing (sp?). Agreeing with someone **all the time** is nearly impossible. People start to think you’re just agreeing with them so as to avoid stating your opinion and having a conversation.
Try disagreeing with her. Have an opinion and back it up.
2009-08-06 05:11:06 on Why does my wireless mouse keep kicking off
Not sure what you mean by “Kicking off”. But, here’s two suggestions that might help… Change the batteries, and/or make sure there’s no dust or hair (or whatever) in front of the red light.
2009-04-25 08:43:53 on should i stay in school or quit?
That’s just a reason to work hard to pass english. So what if it’s a challenge, school is supposed to be challenging. That’s one of the most important things you learn at school… How to deal with challenges. This is just one small challenge that’ll make a huge difference for your future.
The most important thing I learned was in english class :-)
2009-04-25 08:35:18 on should i stay in school or quit?
Ok. Seriously… I was trying not to be blunt, but I can’t hold it back… DO NOT DROP OUT!!! :-) It’s not a good idea. And dropping out of school closes a lot of doors that you haven’t even noticed or seen yet.
Any reason that you can come up with as to why you should drop out, I guarrantee I can tell you why it’s not a reason at all. Go ahead, try me :-)
You’re in grade 12, right?
2009-04-25 08:22:52 on should i stay in school or quit?
That councellor should fired!!! That’s disgusting. I’d stay in school just to spite him/her. :-)
2009-04-25 08:17:31 on should i stay in school or quit?
May I ask Why you’re not doing well in those classes? Is it because you just find the material boring, or too difficult? What are the other two subjects you mentioned?
By the way… You have no idea (or maybe you do) how much your reasons for staying IN school outweigh your reasons for dropping out. Art, friends, and fun - vs. - quiting and lower selfconfidence.

2009-03-15 02:17:51 on Arggggghh!
What would happen if you went to the grading and actually told your instructor/grader that your nervouse, and asked him for advice on an effective way to fight through it?
I figure, instructors always want to instruct and are usually willing to give their advice. So, don’t just *tell* him you’re nervouse, ask him for advice on how to effectively deal with it.
