  Are you looking for ways to “become” anorexic or bulimic? Before you continue on this road, and consider “getting” an ed, ask yourself some questions:
  
  -Do you want to wake up every day for the rest of your life hating yourself and wishing that you didn’t exist?
  
  -Do you want to cry, every time you step on the scale, because it’s never enough, even when you’re losing?
  
  -Do you want to stand in front of a mirror, vainly trying to see what other people see, and not see it, and cry, because you don’t know what’s happened to you anymore?
  
  -Do you want to feel like you’re killing yourself, but feel powerless to stop it?
  
  -Do you want to reach the point where you know you’re killing yourself, and don’t care anymore?
  
  -Do you want to throw up blood, stare at it, and keep throwing up, even though blood is a bad sign, because you simply don’t care anymore?
  
  -Do you want to sit, crying, in the hallway of your home, because you know you didn’t get everything up, even though all you’ve tasted for the past half-hour is stomach bile?
  
  -Do you want to ruin your teeth?
  
  -Do you want to contemplate suicide every day because you’ve grown to hate who you are more than you’ve ever hated anything else in your life?
  
  -Do you want to feel all of your dreams crumbling around you, because you’ve handed everything over in your life to some blank, bitter driving force?
  
  -Do you want to come to the horrible realization that your control is controlling you?
  
  -Do you want to look back, after years, and think, “what have I done with my life?”only to realize that the answer is nothing?
  
  -Do you want months of your life to disappear into oblivions of weight and exercise? To look back and remember nothing else?
  
  -Do you want everything that you ever cared for to disappear?
  
  -Do you want to die?
  
  If you can answer yes to every one of these questions, than an eating disorder is the thing for you. If not, then get out now. This isn’t a way to “fix” your life, or to make things better. It’s a way to make things worse. Sure, you’ll lose weight, but you’ll also lose everything else.

  It’s not meaningless.
  
  I myself am dealing with a breakup still, I can definitely see that the relationship didn’t run as deep as yours did, but I can definitely understand some of what you’re going through, hon.
  
  I agree with armygurl, do everything you can to save the relationship, but if it’s not working, know that everything happens for a reason. I know it sounds cliched but sometimes what you think is the best thing in life gets taken from you. And it makes you appreciate what really is the best thing in life more, when you get it. Know what I’m saying?
  
  I don’t know if I’m helping at all, but hopefully I am, even a little.

  Those are good questions so far, I think.
  
  Maybe an important one is how would they deal with it if people started to assume that they (the teacher) were gay? It’s definitely something to think about. People can be vicious.

  Guess what? I’m a dyke. I’m falling madly in love with this girl I’m with. Did I choose to have this amazing connection with her? Do any hetero people say “Hey, I think I’m gonna be sexually attracted to this person today, maybe I’ll fall in love with that person tomorrow..”? No. It’s an issue you have no control over.
  
  It’s not anything equal to people with “sexual perversions”, as you will, like pedophilia, exhibitionism, fetishism, frotteurism, or voyeurism. These generally involve unwilling participants. I think two people of the same sex consensually having sex is nowhere near as disastrous as some of the true sexual perversions can be.

  Well, I definitely pity him (especially considering the body I’ve gotten from running, LOL.) It will take a lot to forgive him. I wish he’d just talk to me, it would make it so much easier.
