  I can share how I quit soda… I was addicted to soda too, if I didn’t drink it I would get headaches. So I had to have one before noon every day and once I got the flavor I hmostl likely drank another one or two every day if not more. But my weight has been a problem for a few years and I decided I needed to take control and make some healthy changes. I tried switching to diet soda but the only one I liked was Diet Dr. Pepper. That worked for a while, but I was still drinking the caffeine, which prevents you from losing weight. So here is what I did.
  
  I switched to tea, Lipton Cold Brew to be exact. I made it with as little sugar as I could stand. Which I adjusted to it very well. Then once I drank the tea, (which I am khas less caffeine than soda) for about a month I switched from regular to decaffeniated tea with no problem at all!
  
  I have been off of soda for 2 months now. I feel much better and have been able to consously make better healthy choices in eating as a result. I no longer crave the sugary drinks. or sweet foods.

  I like playing chess. I can’t say I am a pro at it, but I play well enough I think.
  
  For anyone interested in learning or playing a “funner” version of the game there is a version played with cards, to teach the basics. Its pretty fun. My son enjoys it and he is only 7 years old.

  I am so sorry this happened to you. Have you talked to him? I can say I have been there done that… Here’s what I did. I found out and I confronted him as gently as I could. I explained to him how it made me feel. Explaining to him that even if it was just a phone call, to me it was cheating and hurt me very deeply. We had a long talk and I agreed that I would forgive him but that if it ever happened again I couldn’t promise the same results.
  He truly did feel sorry and shame in what he did. He was brought to tears. He explained he did it our of curiosity.
  
  This was all over 10 years ago and nothing like that has ever happened again. We have a very happy and open relationship, a healthy marriage.
