Yes, you could do it at home, there’s a lot of place in net for you to sell it.
it will be good if you have your own website too.

but for the start make it simple, to sell in your local city, start to put it at adv (in news paper maybe). then the company who is interesting can & will contact you then you’ll meet them & show your offline website.
If they like it then maybe they will start to tell what they want their website will be ( in flash mode or something else).
If you have license (maybe in design) that will be a plus but so far as I know, if they like your creation the license it’s not very important.

and YES, most web designer work at home and we can meet client with our casual clothes that’s the important thing too hehe :)
