goodnight … I seem to be needing a lot of sleep as I disrupt the patterns to pack my belongings, and it is crescendoing although I’m already thinking of putting it off 3 more days if the mover will let me. Gawd it’s hard. Waaaay too much stuff, and I didn’t think I had much. Oy.

I’m amazed at how very sophisticated and smart he is in person like that on 60 Minutes. It’s really impressive.

It’s a huge thing that has happened. I think that’s why we’re all in a daze. Something big has shifted, for the good. Now we just have to play it out. At least that’s the view i have at this very moment.

The crazy people are coming out but maybe they’ll see the light. I have this fantasy of everybody who’s resisting him {and “the movement”} suddenly saying to themselves, “gee, those guys are having more fun, and they’re thinking of really neat stuff, maybe we should … join ‘em.”

It really is a movement, but more like a slow earthquake (a good one), or a moving sidewalk or a wave, and we’re going to be carried along …

Wow, this is more than I had heard. Very sad. I almost feel that Obama should speak to them in one of his addresses. Did you see him on 60 Minutes?

Cooper, Sarah has graciously accepted Obama’s nomination now but let us not forget her rabble-rousing of yore. The Secret Service has reported a spike in threats to his life during the period when she was linking him to Ayers and all that stuff, and refusing to silence her numbskull audience. That is not okay, just because she is now being “gracious.” I think she should be ignored.

I too am once again proud to be American!!!

I came down with bronchitis yesterday and had to watch it all sick from my bed. I wish I could of been there, but I was waaaay to sick, but what a glorious day for America. I have never been prouder to be an American!! The fact that it was a landslide shows the rest of the World we are better than they thought us to be!

I am amazed, even though I had that good feeling this morning. I am still in shock.

Well, I won’t actually be in the area where Obama is giving his speech. I was not lucky enough to get one of those tickets like I had hoped, but I will be less than a half mile away watching it on a jumbotron with thousands of supporters.

:) So excited!!!! Tomorrow could be a new beginning of hope in America!

I liked what you said about Paul Bunyanish stuff. I was laughing… its so true! Destructive stuff. I really think its more important at this time to use ones brain rather than one’s brawn. I just feel fighting or destructive behavior is a primitive reaction to fear and the need for power without thinking about the consequences or how it will affect everyone down the line. Its too bad there are people that STILL refuse to see this for what it is. I think strength is more about how someone uses their intelligence - we should be well past the days of unga bunga and carrying around clubs. lol!
