  Depends what your criteria is really, different figures have been influential to different masses of people in various differnt parts of the globe. Stalin was incredibly influential, although his influence upon the world was almost exclusively negative. He essentially created the USSR, instigated the division of Germany via the Berlin wall and locked several eastern European states into a USSR of disparate elements for about 4 decades, the repercussions of this are still fragmented around that part of the planet today. Thus, for that, he must get an honourable mention at least.
  
  Hitler would also make my list, despite his inordinately cruel treatment of millions. His influence is seen in various forms, from the holocaust to the ignition of the second world war, the largest en masse fight the earth has ever seen, to the repercussions of the second world war - which saw the instigation of the division of Europe from Berlin.
  
  Martin Luther (not the assasinated civil rights leader) would also make my list, given that he was a central figure in the division of the Catholic church and the genesis of the Protestant faith - a major event in Christianity, which has had reverberating repercussions to this very day.

  It depends on what you call fitness really. If you are attempting to build up your stamina levels (ie how long you can exercise/play sport for) then the exercise/training you do should be centred around running long distances at a relatively slow, constant pace. If for example, you run 2,000 - 3,000 metres, let’s say, twice a week, for maybe 3-4 weeks, this would enable you to build up a good fitness base and improve your stamina levels.
  
  If you deem speed to be a necessary component of your fitness, you should mix up your long distance cardio running with a variety of short sprints, in order to improve your speed levels. Also, when you exercise regularly, two key areas to note should be Diet and Rest/Recovery Time. These are both relevant in your case as you tire easily. DIET: before you engage in any type of exercise it is essential that you eat food that are high in carboydrate, eg pasta, potatoes, fruit such as bananas, fruit juices/smoothies etc, this provides you with energy to arry out your exercise. Before exercise you should aim to be well hydrated, ie drink a lot of fluid/water the previous day and before your exercise. After your exercise session, especially if you are tired or if you are aiming to build muscle, you should eat foods high in carbohydrate and high in protein also. The carbohydrate provides energy, to compensate for the energy you used up in the session, and protein aids recovery, in addition to facilitating the growth of muscle (ie if you are at the gym and are attempting to bulid muscle, the healthy way to operate is to have a high protein intake in the diet. Do not resort to harmful methods such as taking creatine or steroids or any of that rubbish)

  The US invaded because they sought financial gain. They will not invade North Korea. Why? Because North Korea actually possess lethal weaponary. A similar situation exists in relation to Iran. In relation to “terror”, it seems that the word is thrown about too casually and is allowed to refer to one’s enemies, and not to the similarly unnacceptable actions of one’s ally. For instance, when the Israeli Defence Forces drop missiles into heavily populated refugee camps it is deemed to be legitimate aggression, whereas, if someone plants bombs in London or flies a plane into the twin towers in New York, its terrorism. The point I try to make is that all these acts of violent agression are equatable, be they committed by priest or medic, muslim or atheist, christian or tabacco farmer. The life of one american should be valued at exactly the same worth as that of an afghan or Iraqi. No more. No less.

  I respect your opinion rstorku, but I have to disagree to an extent I’m afraid. I understand that there was considerable civil tension prior to the US invasion. However, the US was also aware of this. Obviously, the shias had been oppressed for the majority of Sadaam’s tenure, and the later also treated the Kurds with utter contempt on numerous occasions, but the americans literally proceeded to open the can of worms that is Iraq and now utter chaos on the most enormous of scales has ensued. I don’t think the situation could be much worse to be honest. Couple this to what the US is currently doing - arming sunni militias elements that oppose al queda, thus succeeding in further polarizing the situation and endeavouring to diminish hostility towards itself. And what next? Shall the US seek to divide Iraq into 3 provinces perhaps, thereby continuing the western precedent of negative and unneccessary interference in the middle east, set by the crusades, and later by the French and British mandates post world war one?
