  how old are you? it’s quite unusual for someone to approach death with such dignity and responsibility. after all your affairs are in order and settled, live life to the fullest. do what you would do if you only had months to live. forgive the people who’ve hurt you, apologize those you’ve hurt. visit those people you’ve always meant to visit. see the places you’ve always meant to see. say all the things you truly meant to say. if your prediction is true, this is your time to celebrate your life, not only in words, but in actions. spend your days truly living.

  though i am not a christian, please do not take what i say lightly.
  
  to me it does not sit well in my heart that God would deny one person to love another. and even if you believe that the love isn’t evil, just the action, i still don’t see why He would deny them one of the most passionate an complete expression of love between two people. you know the line:
  
  “To love another person is to see the face of God.”
  
  if God really loved us with the entirety of his beloved omniscient and understanding Supreme Being, he would want his children to find love and happiness just like any parent would. He would want them to find someone to care for them, and love them passionately and unconditionally. To me, THAT’s what Love is.
  
  if i had to deny my child the chance to spend the rest of their life with someone they truly loved, it wold break my heart. i don’t know why or HOW God could do that to the people he loves.
  
  and if the God you believe in cares more about the gender of your body that the love in your heart, i am sorry. then let me be the one to say that i hope you find happiness in life, i hope you find someone to love and who loves you in return. i hope you find someone to grow old with and share memories with, someone who will promise to love you until the day God finally returns to claim you both. a true, loving God would not condemn you for the sin of loving another person. a true, loving God would not tell you that because of how you were born, you will never be able to physically express the extent of your love.
