  When you’re connected, double-click that flashing monitor. Click View Wireless Networks. Click on the troublesome network, and click Disconnect. Now it won’t connect to that automatically.

  I’m friends with computer geeks, but they know more about software than the actual inner workings, so I’ll try the last option you listed. If that fails, I’ll save up and do the other option. Thank you!
