Thank you for your comments on my post, it has reached a point where I feel if I responded to individuals personally on the post that I would slight others and I don’t want to hurt feelings.

I do know that I could edit the post, but I don’t have any better wording and now I believe it would be wrong to change what people have already responded to.

Thank You for your input.

I used to be an idealist, but as I’ve grown older I couldn’t get away from certain realities. Human nature is a big reality.

You believe in peace and though I share your dream, I feel that is something that isn’t possible when weighed against human nature.

It’s like our discussion on my post, you were pointing out that you felt it was a hate speech, but you came off hostile. You can’t get passed human perceptions and if we has humans cannot do that, there will never be lasting peace.

As an individual I applaud your efforts and hope that you will acheive success in your endeavor for peace.

There are many, who agree with me and are taking steps to make sure there is everlasting peace. One such measure is a bill in the Senate to add a minister of peace to the Presiden’ts cabinet.

I wish that were possible, but human nature will never make that a reality.

Now don’t take that to mean I want to start another debate with you, lol

I need to rest and get some fluids in me first, lol

I’ve been away and was disapointed to find that my last post was closed before I had a chance to respond to your comments.

I appreciate the passion in which you wrote and I understand your deep feelings, however I do think you took the meaning of my words wrong.

I don’t expect to change anyone, I just think that we have to communicate and try to see where the other person is coming from. There’s just not a lot of that done in this country. All we can see is our own points of view and we can’t seem to put ourselves in someone elses shoes.

I still believe that the time for black only organizations have passed, I think that it helps keep seperation and racism alive, just as the KKK does. I suppose we will just have to agree to disagree on that point.

I suppose there are other points we disagree on, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to call you delusional and I took offense to you calling me delusional.

I believe with all of my heart what was done to the black race was discusting, but how can things ever change if the past is clung to. You say that there is a growth in the KKK and as much as I find that deplorable, I understand why that is happening. It’s about perceptions, many are becoming fed up with the double standards.

I won’t debate the minority issue, I can’t possibly imagine what things are like in Atlanta, I don’t live there, but I do know what they are like in New Orleans and living there is what developed some of my thoughts. I was happy to move from there, it’s a horrible place to raise children.

I don’t claim to know how it feels to be a black person and I did not compare the racism that I’ve experienced to the racism that a black person has experienced. My point is all racism is wrong, all racism is bad.

Two wrongs do not make a right.
