This is my story of how I became homeless and what I have learned so far to this point.
What is normal? Who can you trust? and When does the suffering end?
My name is Cindy, 34 yr old, mother of 2 beautiful girls, yet can not provide a home for them or see them. I had gone through very severe depression after the break up of my ex-fiance, who was mentally abusive. I turned to drugs for seven months but that did not help so I got clean and things got worse. I ended up homeless, carless, jobless, and childless. I felt the world would be better off without me, so I picked up a gun for the first time in my life, and aimed for my heart and pulled the trigger. Thank God I did not know where my heart was but I clipped every other organ inside of me below my heart. Only by the Grace of God am I alive today to tell you my story. I have to wear a colostomy bag, waiting on reversal of the surgery, yet it costs $5000.00 as a down payment to get it done without insurance. After I left the hospital I came to what i thought was a Christian based facilty called Women In Crisis, which cost me $3000.00 to find out that the place was a fraud. Now again I am homeless, jobless, carless, and still can not support my 2 beautiful daughters.
I don’t know where else to turn but I need help with the down payment for my surgery, and for money to help pay my bills so I won’t be on the street under a bridge. I have faith in God and Beleive he will meet my every need, so now I am asking for your help as well.
